NURSES FOR FILM & TV
STARS WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1997 TO PROVIDE MEDICAL & NURSING COVER TO THE TV AND FILM INDUSTRY IN SCOTAND.
It is co-ordinated by Stefania Swiatek, who qualified as a Registered General Nurse at York District Hospital in 1986.
After completing one years Ophthalmic experience, she moved to Glasgow Western Infirmary where she worked in Accident and Emergency for 12 years.
During this time she studied for a Diploma in Professional Studies; gaining experience in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics and Cardiac Medicine, before gaining a BSc Health Studies. She also has a certificate in Advanced Life Support.
From 1995 - 97 she assisted Professor Teasdale at the Southern General Hospital with Head injury research.
